Early Help
SENDAT recognises the importance of supporting not just our children but their families. To do this we work together with families and with involvement from other agencies as appropriate.
SENDAT is able to access the wide range of agencies and support networks provided by the County Council and, where appropriate, can access the wider support teams such as family support workers, child counsellors, education psychologists etc.
If you or your child needs some support, you can access early help provision by contacting the school and speaking your child’s tutor or one of the Safeguarding Team. You can contact some of these agencies yourself if you wish and sometimes they will ask the school for a referral or more information.
Additionally, our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy is available through the policies area.
