All parties are working hard to try to get the building ready for September 2021. We will post updates here as we have them.

The Key Stage 3-4 building at Stowupland high school will have:

  • Two classrooms
  • Two break out rooms
  • Hard and grass outdoor space for each room.
  • Toilets
  • Lobby area

Each classroom will take up to 9 students. For registration and some lessons the classrooms will be split one for Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and one for Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11).

Due to the nature of the school building at Stowupland the Mulberry classrooms are not directly connected to the main school building, but they are very close for good connectivity and working.

The Mulberry Key Stage 2 classes will be at Mendlesham Primary school.

Suffolk County Council are still working out the best way to construct these and make best use of the existing facilities.

We do expect that the Mendlesham Classes will have:

  • Two classrooms
  • Two toilets (one attached to each classroom)
  • Two group rooms
  • Some outdoor space

As soon as we have some drawings of the space we will share them here.
