Joy Kent is a Chartered Member of the CIPD with many years’ HR experience in education, multi-national organisations in the private sector and several years as employment and debt advisor with the CAB. Joy joined SENDAT in late 2017 and has been very involved in the growth development of the Trust. As a keen cyclist, Joy is also very happy to work as a volunteer supporting the students’ cycling activities – “being actively involved with the students reminds me what we are all here for!”
Angela Whatley sits on the Resources Committee Angela has taught in the FE sector for 26 years starting her teaching career as a Lecturer in Business. She gained her MBA with the University of East Anglia. Angela's current role includes being the College lead for school learning partnerships across Suffolk and she represents the College at the Suffolk Association of Secondary Heads. Angela is also a Director of the Suffolk Academies Trust whose aim is to provide the opportunity for all 16-19 year olds in the community and region to receive outstanding education which gives progression to Higher Education, apprenticeships and employment for all. Angela also sits on the Local Governing Body of the Sybil Andrews Academy in Bury St Edmunds.
