Sunrise Academy is a Special School for Pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Heath (SEMH) difficulties that are more complex than mainstream schools can be expected to cope with. Many pupils are diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other specialist disabilities.
All pupils at the school have a full Education, Health and Care Plan (EHC).
