Some of the college courses can be quite hard to find. Here we hope to make it a bit easier for you to find some links to further information. The courses are split into two main types, Foundation and Level 1.
All courses will include work on English and Maths.
Foundation Courses
Usually at Entry Level (Below GCSE).
These courses usually have a range of areas and life skills covered in them.
Level 1 Courses
A Level 1 is Equivalent to a GCSE Grades D to G.
These courses specialise in the subject area, but still include English and Maths.
From the review meetings you should have some idea of the level of course which may be appropriate for your child, but do feel free to contact us if you would like more help.
